Happy Feet and Caring Hearts LLC were built from a life rooted in compassion, resilience, and a deep desire to serve others. This business is deeply personal to me—my passion for care comes from real-life experiences and the love I have for my family and community.

For over 15 years, I worked in the healthcare field as a CNA/ACMA, where I discovered my true calling: caring for others. Nursing wasn’t just a job for me—it was something I genuinely loved. Although my health no longer allows me to continue in that field, my heart for helping people has never changed.

As a Native American and Black woman, I was raised with strong values of family, independence, and community. My grandmothers, Laura Beavers and Susie Martinez, played a major role in shaping who I am today. They raised me with love, strength, and guidance, and along with my mother, taught me the importance of standing on my own while still caring for others.

Throughout my life, I’ve experienced both deep love and significant loss. I’ve lost loved ones to violence, illness, and life’s hardships. In loving memory of Michael Leanell Beavers Jr., Michael Leanell Beavers, and Susie Martinez, this business was built with compassion, purpose, and heart. Their lives continue to inspire the patience, kindness, and care I provide every day.

Those experiences have given me a deeper understanding of how important it is to have someone who truly cares—someone who listens, shows up, and supports others during difficult times.

I come from a family that believes in helping others, especially those who are struggling or less fortunate. That spirit lives through me and is the foundation of this business.

Today, I’ve turned my passion into something meaningful, creating a service where I can take my time, connect with people, and truly make a difference in their lives, while also supporting my family.
